In a few short months Global has made me think about the world differently, given me the best friends I've ever had, and completely changed my life for the better.

Why did you choose to do Global?
I chose to do global because I had heard from many people that it is an amazing experience, which would change the way I looked at the world.
How has Global changed you?
It has given me not only a new perspective of the world, but it has also given me a new appreciation for the little things in life. In addition, it's enabled me to realize that life is too short to focus on just academics or career advancement. While those things are important, you should strive to seek a balance between academics and living life.
Favourite memory?
There was one moment in Bitche, France when a few Global kids and Mr.B were underground in the citadel. There was a horribly made video playing on a projector in one the halls. Out of nowhere a shadow puppet appeared and began to make its way across the screen. All the Global kids began to laugh before returning to watching the video. As the laughing finished and their was silence, all we heard was a high pitched iconic Mr. Babcock laugh cutting through the silence. The second we heard Mr. B we burst out laughing.
What would you tell future Global students?
Work as hard as you can and even when it seems impossible keep on pushing. Do that, but don't forget that you'll grow as a person outside of the academics.

Goals after Global
After Global I don't want to get caught up in the rat race. I want to travel and learn about the world while doing what I love.
